á      The Christmas Tour of Homes 2002 was a huge success.  Our goal was met and we will be able to offer more scholarships.  Our thanks to Debra Thomas, Chairperson, and all who worked to make it a successful event.

 

á      The Annual Organizational Meeting will be held on Sunday, March 9, 2003 in observance of St. DavidÕs Day.  A catered meal, consisting of two meat entrees, will be served at 1:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall of the Gomer United Church of Christ, 7350 Gomer Rd., Gomer, Ohio.  Cost of the meal is $10.00 per person.  Election of officers will be held after the meal.  Also, there will be door prizes.  Following the meal, there will be time for everyone to visit the museum.  Please send your reservations and check to Verona Sandy by March 4, 2003.

*  Cymdeithas Madog presents: Cwrs Cymraeg y Llynnoedd Mawr Ð The Great Lakes Welsh Course.  The Ô Welsh CourseÕ is going to be held at Carthage College in Kenosha Wisconsin, July 20-27, 2003.  This weeklong, intensive residential course emphasizes the spoken language, and provides instruction/classes at seven levels ranging from the absolute beginner to those quite advances in the language.  The lead teacher for Cwrs 2003 is Marc Stonelake from Wales.  Registration will be limited.  To reserve a place you may send a deposit check or money order for $100 in US funds.  Please include your e-mail address along with your mailing address.  Make the check payable to: Cwrs Cymraeg 2003.  Mail to Dick Myers, Registrar, 549 West Manor Circle, Bayside, Wisconsin  53217-1735, USA.  Fees for the course include all meals, tuition, course material and official evening activities from Sunday evening July 20th through lunch on Sunday, July 27.  A mid-week trip is planned to nearby Racine to see the works of well-known Welsh architect, Frank Lloyd Wright.
