WELSH farming is poised for a generational switch as traditional beef and sheep farming is eased out in favour of mixed agriculture.
The country is well-placed to cash in on global food trends with many farmers planning to change land use and intensify production, according to Prof Gareth Edwards-Jones, of Bangor University.
