You'll need a library card from a Welsh library to use some features of the site.
A new bilingual website aims to allow Welsh people to access a wide variety of online services free of charge . From emailing Ask.Cymru for answers to crossword puzzles, useful sites for researching your family history to finding the latest job information. www.library.wales.org aims to give the answer.

-Cleaning Day Scheduled: Friday, April 21, 2006 at 5:00 pm. It is time to clean the yard and the inside of the museum. We are hoping for a good turn out!
-Mother/Daughter Welsh Tea: Plans are being made to host a “Tea” on Sunday, May 7, 2006 at 3:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall of the Gomer United Church of Christ. There will be tea along with fancy tea sandwiches and sweets with entertainment by Nancy Miller who will give a “Hat Presentation”. We are asking that you bring your own favorite cup/saucer and you may get to share why it is your favorite. We would also like for you to wear a hat, possibly the last “Easter Bonnet” you purchased. Reservations are $5.00 and can be made by calling Verona Sandy (419)642-3445 or Elizabeth Roberts (419)642-6845. Deadline for reservations is May 3, 2006.
-Next Meeting: The next regularly scheduled meeting is Wednesday, May 10 at 10:00 am in the Fellowship Hall of the Gomer United Church of Christ. Plans will be finalized regarding the completion of the landscaping of the Gomer Welsh Community Museum’s backyard.
-Keep the date of June 14, 2006 open for our next regularly scheduled meeting at 10:00 am. We are hoping to have a picnic on our new patio at the museum. You will need to bring a lawn chair and a sack lunch. More details at the May meeting.
-Scholarship application forms: The applications are now available by contacting Verona Sandy at 7225 Gomer Rd., Gomer, Ohio 45809, (419)642-3345. The students that apply should be of Welsh decent. Deadline for the applications is August 1, 2006.
