Thank you to the ninety ladies who attended the 4th Annual Cookies and Tea Party on Sunday, May 3, 2009. Also, thanks to Glen Sandy, Herb Bushong, John Olds and Dave Whittington for serving and cleaning-up after the tea. The proceeds of $360.00 went to the Gomer Welsh Community Museum this year. Carla Olds said that the 3-D Cookie Cutters are available for purchase at the museum ($25.00 per cutter - No shipping, handling or tax). Great Christmas Stocking Suffers

1. Gymanfa Ganu: Sunday, October 4, 2009. 7:00 PM at the Gomer United Church of Christ. The Welsh Society of Northwest Ohio will once again serve a light meal before the Gymanfa Ganu in the Fellowship Hall from 4:30-6:00 PM.
2. Welsh Breakfast and Flu Shots: Date and further details to be determined by flu shot availability.
3. Christmas Tour of Homes: Sunday, December 6, 2009. Time: 1:00-7:00 PM. If you would be willing to show your home, please call Gloria Sherer (419)221-0147 or Monetta Lloyd (419)642-4944. More details in a future newsletter.
4. The Gomer Welsh Community Museum is open every 2nd and 4th Sunday from now through December – 1:30-4:00 PM. If you would like to be a greeter, please contact Monetta Lloyd at (419)642-4944. Future displays will feature some of our first families of Gomer.
